‘They know he has got no heart!’ – Kell Brook taunts Amir Khan over Terence Crawford coaching decision ahead of their bitter showdown
Kell Brook insists Amir Khan has tried and failed to get into his head by enlisting the services of Terence Crawford and his team – insisting even they know the Bolton fighter has ‘no heart left’.
After a bitter and personal rivalry that has brewed for over a decade, Brook and Khan will finally meet in the ring on Saturday in Manchester to settle their bad blood.
In preparation for the bout, Khan took his training camp to high altitude in Colorado, where he linked up with American coach Brian ‘Bomac’ McIntyre. Among McIntyre’s other fighters is WBO welterweight king Crawford, who has also been putting work in with the Briton to help whip him into shape.
Both Brook and Khan have history with Crawford, with the former suffering a knockout defeat to him in November 2020 – his last fight to date.
Prior to that, Khan attempted to dethrone the undefeated American in April 2019 but was pulled out of the contest after a low blow.

‘But you’ve got to take into consideration the guy who was training him [McIntrye], he and Crawford were the same guys calling him a quitter that night.
‘So they know he hasn’t got the best heart. They were slagging him off after that fight. And now he’s working with him.
‘He [McIntyre] has never worked with Amir before either. He doesn’t know how to train him, how to push him or when to let him have a day off. I
