There would've been no Rangers cover up if right call made as Hotline urge Hearts to give their head a wobble

Trophy-mad Rangers Women got the plaudits for their Tynecastle triumph over Partick Thistle in the Sky Sports Cup final.

But Hearts took the hump after pictures emerged showing the Ibrox club’s crest had been laid on top of the Jambos badge in the home dressing room. The Gorgie club are now demanding answers from tournament organisers at the SWPL - but Scott Gowers, Edinburgh, reckons others have some explaining to do

He said: "Hearts' anger should be towards the SFA as the cup final should have been played at Hampden, where a club in the final have a right to their crest in the changing room without the burden of another club's crest. The fact that the cup final wasn't played at Hampden totally demeans women's football which totally brings the integrity of the SFA into question.

Gary Stevenson, Newtonhill, may not have been totally serious when he said: “The SFA must act straight away to punish Rangers. Placing a sticker over the Hearts logo should carry a total ban on both the men's and women's teams. I also hear that an empty crisp packet was left in the dressing room. Four years for the sticker and a further nine for the crisp packet.”

But Irwin Houston, Giffnock, was certainly sincere
