There Have Been Nearly 70 Players Better Than Cristiano Ronaldo In The Premier League This Season

Cristiano Ronaldo's frustrations continued in Manchester United's latest game, and the forward is quite low down on the list of best Premier League players this season.

Ronaldo, and United as a whole, struck out once again on Saturday, as they drew 0-0 with relegation threatened Watford, despite 22 shots for the home side.

That's no surprise really considering the Liverpool forward is the league's top scorer with 19 goals, with the second top scorer, teammate Diogo Jota, a ridiculous seven behind him.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is second behind Salah, with Joao Cancelo splitting those two Reds stars from Sadio Mane in fourth place.

Outside of the top two, Son Heung-min and Jarrod Bowen round off the top 10, especially impressive from the West Ham star who is having a hell of a season.

Whilst Bowen's 7.29 puts him amongst the elite players in the league, Ronaldo has a score less than 7 and has put him well down the charts.

The Champions League's all time top goal scorer is directly below the likes of Fred, Adama Traore, Jordan Henderson and Christian Norgaard.

It really isn't ideal right now for the former Juventus forward, or his current club, who expected to challenge for the title, especially after the huge fanfare over his return.

The draw with Watford keeps them in the top four right now, but Arsenal are just two points behind and have three games in hand.
