Boss Philippe Clement has seen time called on his Rangers tenure - and it has been a rocky road for the boss.
Defeat to St Mirren at Ibrox proved to be the final straw for the club after a dismal season which has seen the club tumble 13 points behind Celtic in the Premiership title race - while also suffering Scottish Cup humiliation at the hands of Queen's Park and Premier Sports Cup final heartbreak in a defeat to Brendan Rodgers' Hoops. The Europa League has kept up some sort of momentum - CEO Patrick Stewart praising the Rangers boss for his run deep into the competition earlier this week.
At that point former Manchester United chief Stewart insisted he was sticking by the Belgian just months after he was handed a new contract - but now times is up after a rollercoaster time in the dugout. With that, there has been plenty of one liners - and excuses, as perceived by many punters - from the boss.

I don't think you can ask for more than 30 chances. nothing to do with tactics, it's about the quality of the moments. And then you get this very bad result. So it's very frustrating to go out of the cup in this way.”
