The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is set to make a comeback with a sequel, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution. 

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners was undeniably one of the best VR experiences available. The game combined hacking and slashing zombie hordes with survival game elements, such as the ability to pick up weapons and items to try to survive another night in that world.

In Chapter 2, players will get to explore new sections of New Orleans, new weapons, and enemies, and will take approximately 15-20 hours to complete.

It’s been over a little over two years since the players embarked on their zombie-slaying journey in New Orleans. In January 2022, Skydance announced that there’d be a sequel. 

The developers have not revealed a set date yet, but the game is slated to be released in late 2022. Updates on the confirmed date will be shared here. 

Many have been asking if this will be a direct sequel and we have the answer to that question. It is a completely standalone sequel to the original. Chapter 2 promises to be an expanded and bloodier VR zombie game. 

Chapter 2 will serve as a continuation of the storyline from the original game. Chapter 2: Retribution is a new, standalone game for players who want to jump straight into this new chapter of the Tourist’s story!

The new game will continue the original storyline and will still follow the Tourist.
