The Voice's LeAnn Rimes moved to tears after being 'blown away' by contestant on ITV show

LeAnn Rimes was deeply touched during Saturday night's episode of The Voice, as a contestant's performance brought her to tears.

ITV audiences met 28 year old hopeful Deb Orah, whose singing instantly charmed LeAnn, leading her to swiftly hit her buzzer.

After the performance, applause filled the room and an emotional LeAnn was quick to praise the singer, as she said: "I'm crying! You moved me to tears! That was beautiful."

Upon discovering that Deb Orah was a teacher from Kent, LeAnn heaped further praise on her, adding: "Your voice is so stunning, you really did move me to tears.

I love that you chose that song, the power and the feeling. You just blew me, blew me, blew me away!"

Coaches Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher also commended the poignant rendition, with Tom commenting: "It's not just you that feels it, we all feel it.

"To be able to do that when none of us are looking at you, we were just feeling those emotions through your voice."

"We have this thing in the studio where we say goosebumps don't lie. Within the second word you sang all of the hairs on my arms stood up."

Following her revelation that she sang in church, Deb Orah appeared to charm all the judges, with several eager to recruit her for their team, reports the Mirror.

In the intense competition to persuade Deb Orah, LeAnn said: "First off, I'm the only woman on this panel and I think you should keep it with some girl power here, I'm just saying!"

The celebrity then showered the teacher with compliments, declaring her excitement at the prospect of mentoring her by helping to enhance her singing abilities.
