The Tottenham players back for pre-season today, five who started early and when others return

Tottenham's non-international players start to return to Hotspur Way from Monday and will join five players who came back early before the rest return.

A quintet of players returned early last week to Spurs' Enfield-based training complex as they all looked to get a head start following injury-enforced absences towards the end of last season. Oliver Skipp, Matt Doherty and Japhet Tanganga were all back last Monday to begin their work ahead of the new season as they all aim to impress Antonio Conte with a seamless return into pre-season.

Sergio Reguilon also returned to Hotspur Way last week following his groin problems towards the end of last season and new signing Ivan Perisic arrived at the training ground on Friday to begin work indoors following his calf injury in his final appearance for Inter Milan.

Now the quintet will be joined from Monday by those Spurs players who did not take part in international fixtures at the end of last season. Those first batch of returning stars will include new signing Fraser Forster, Brandon Austin, Emerson Royal, Eric Dier, Harry Winks, Tanguy Ndombele, Harvey White, Lucas Moura, Jack Clarke as well as Ryan Sessegnon and Rodrigo Bentancur, who both pulled out of their respective England U21 and Uruguay international squads.

The remainder of the club's international players are expected to return in time for the squad's flight to South Korea on July 9 for their summer tour.
