'The swings of emotions': A sense of sweet justice for Ghana despite Uruguay defeat

Uruguay have been eliminated from the World Cup despite their 2-0 victory against Ghana while South Korea shocked an already-qualified Portugal to win 2-1 to advance to the last 16 ahead of Uruguay on goals scored.

When Uruguay took a first half lead through a Giorgian de Arrascaeta double, it looked likely that they would advance to the next round with Portugal, who were level with South Korea at half time.

However, South Korea dug deep and Hwang Hee-chan stepped up to score an injury time winner sending Uruguay out of the tournament and breaking La Celeste hearts.

Luis Suarez was seen in tears when he heard the news that Korea had taken the lead, as this will likely be his final World Cup. 

Following all the drama in the other groups so far, it's fair to say that Group H delivered as South Korea joined Portugal ahead of Uruguay and Ghana in the next round.
