It’s one of the prettiest waterfalls you can visit within easy reach of Greater Manchester - and is only a 45 minute drive from Rochdale.

Surrounded by trees and lush greenery, this waterfall is the ultimate tranquil beauty spot where you can lose yourself in the sound of water tumbling into a pool.

There’s a charming stone bridge which overlooks the falls and it’s a lovely place to explore, especially with children.

Made up of not just one but several waterfalls, at Lumb Hole Falls several streams pour down into a perfectly formed pool from different heights - definitely an Insta-worthy location.
