The Rock vs Roman Reigns heavily teased on latest Young Rock episode
WWE could be set for another titanic showdown that will draw the attention of hardcore wrestling fans, as well as draw in new viewers, with a fight between The Rock and Roman Reigns being teased ahead of WrestleMania 39.
On The Rock’s biopic Young Rock, homage was paid to Roman Reigns, who’s the real-life cousin of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
The show is set in 2032 and follows The Rock ahead of his presidential election campaign, and flashes back to the past to look at major moments in his childhood, and how he became the famed wrestler he is today.
In the show, a young Reigns points to the camera shouting his iconic catchphrase: “Acknowledge me!”
A card then appeared showcasing Reigns’ achievements as he tries to put The Rock in a headlock, asking to wrestle.
A young Reigns said: “Come on Dewey, Let’s wrestle.”
To which The Rock responded: “No, the world is not ready! A match that big can happen only at WrestleMania.”
