The Rock: Praise from Dwayne Johnson made WWE star cry

Montez Ford has said praise that he received from Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson recently made him cry.

Recently, Dwayne Johnson made a rather exciting prediction for Montez Ford, suggesting that he thinks the WWE star will become a World Champion.

The comment came after a clip of Montez Ford speaking about his admiration for The Rock in a recent interview began circulating, catching the attention of The Rock.

And now, in another interview, Montez Ford has spoken about his reaction to The Rock’s comments.

Speaking to Bleav in Pro Wrestling, Ford said that The Rock’s comments actually brought him to tears, explaining that it was huge for one of his heroes to give him that praise.

“I can’t even put into words. But, I did cry a little bit. I will not lie, you know? Because it was a big, it was big for me man. It is just so cool to see your heroes recognize you and say like, ‘Hey man, I see you man.’

Ford went on to explain that The Rock “has been there” for him during the tough periods of his life, and was a big inspiration for him.

And I appreciate that. I still do, like, to this day. Because like I said, I’ve been through a lot of stuff in my life. And Rock has been there, in his own way, just him being himself. He’s been there and helped me to be who I am today and inspired me to who I am today. The successes, everything.”

Montez Ford is set to be in action at WrestleMania 38, when The Street Profits challenge RK-Bro and Alpha Academy in a three-way for the Raw Tag Team Championship.
