The Rock: Dwayne Johnson's body transformation from teenage years to now is incredible

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s body transformation from his WWE debut in 1996 to now is seriously impressive.

We all now know The Rock as an avid gym goer with one of the most impressive physiques on the planet, but that wasn’t always the case.

Back in 2019, The Rock left fans with their jaws on the floor after sharing an incredible throwback picture from his days as a teenager.

The former WWE Champion shared the image on his Instagram, leaving fans even more impressed with Rocky’s insane body transformation.

In the caption to the photo, Rock said that he was 6 foot 4 inches at the time the photo was taken when he was just 15 years old, but was significantly skinnier than he is now.

Rock said that he was just 200lbs at the time, and for comparison, the 49-year-old is now believed to weigh over 260lbs.

As you can see from the side-by-side comparison below, The Rock has totally changed his body over the last 34 years, and now significantly larger and looks like a completely different person.

The Hollywood megastar did put on some weight by the time he made his WWE debut in 1996 (for context in around 1987).

As can be seen below, while The Rock was larger than his teenage years by the time he appeared in WWE, he certainly didn’t have the incredible physique that he has right now.

Don’t be fooled, The Rock had to work incredibly hard to get into the incredible shape that he’s in now, and it hasn’t been an easy ride.

The Rock eats an insane amount of food each day, and works out like a mad man to make up for it, all of which you can read more about by clicking here.

Rocky is rumoured to be returning to WWE next year, for a huge WrestleMania 39 match with his cousin, Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
