The Rangers dressing room reaction to Fenerbahce draw as star declares 'we're not scared of anyone'

Nicolas Raskin is adamant Rangers don’t fear Fenerbahce.

The Belgian star is thrilled to have landed the Turkish giants in the last 16 of the Europa League. Jose Mourinho’s side knocked out Raskin’s countrymen Anderlecht to set up the two-legged cracker. Fenerbahce are packed with top-class international players, but Raskin stated: “It’s always a belief. We know what we have to do, so we’re not scared of anyone.

“We’re just going to take it game by game and we’re going to go for the win. The first game is going to be tough over there, but we know that if we can do something good and get something out of that game, we know that coming back to Ibrox is going to be something that is very good for us.

“It’s going to be very exciting. I watched them play against Anderlecht. They are a top team, top players, they have some great players. I’ve seen them playing some man-to-man on some pressings, so I think it’s going to be very interesting.

“The atmosphere over there looks really good also. Our atmosphere obviously is very magic. It’s going to be a really nice game to play.

“I’ve never played over there in Turkey, so it’s going to be a good thing to discover. But they are known to have a very tough atmosphere also, so it’s going to be a good game for us to go there.”

Mourinho will be plotting to end the adventure of the Ibrox club at this stage of the competition and Raskin admits his memories as a kid of the Special One’s outfits are of a “successful team, especially in Europe, so it’s going to be very interesting.”
