The Premier League TV rule that will impact Manchester United and Man City this season
All 20 Premier League clubs have voted through a new TV proposal following an online meeting.
The new plan, should it come to fruition after being submitted to TV companies in the coming weeks, will see each club receive an increase in broadcast money. As part of the plan, more top flight games are set to be made available to watch.
In addition, there is also the option for a new broadcaster or streaming service to secure the rights to show Premier League fixtures live. However, it is believed that both TNT Sports, formerly known as BT Sport, and Amazon will look to add more games to their respective rosters.

Sky Sports, who currently broadcast more Premier League games than anyone else, are also highly likely to want to increase the number of fixtures they show per season. Sky traditionally broadcast 128 fixtures per season.
The current TV rights package comes in at a whopping £5.1billion over a three-year period and is shared between Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Amazon, who show 200 games between them per season. Sky have secured several slots to broadcast games live over the course of a Premier League weekend, ranging between Friday evenings and Monday evenings.
TNT tend to show matches on Saturday lunchtimes and occasionally Saturday evenings. Amazon usually have two full gameweeks per season, both of which are normally in December.
This year, Amazon has secured the rights to show all 10 Premier League fixtures between Tuesday, December 5 and Thursday, December 7. Manchester United welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford and Manchester City travel to Villa Park to lock horns with Aston Villa within that gameweek, with
