The Outer Worlds 2: Everything We Know So Far

The Outer Worlds 2 has finally been announced and is in development. Here’s what we know so far about this upcoming title.

During Microsoft and Bethesda’s E3 showcase in the summer of last year, Obsidian came out and revealed The Outer Worlds 2, a sequel to the popular RPG from Obsidian. 

For the uninitiated, the first The Outer Worlds game was released in 2019 and is set in an alternate future that branched in 1901, when U.S. President William McKinley is not assassinated by Leon Czolgosz at the Pan-American Exposition.

It sported stunning visuals, challenging decision choices, and a dark sense of humour. With The Outer Worlds 2 finally being in the works, we can expect Obsidian to take everything a notch higher, especially the whole open world design.

With that said, here’s everything we know so far about The Outer Worlds 2.

The answer to when The Outer Worlds 2 is releasing is something most fans are looking for; however, unfortunately, the game has no release date just yet. The Outer Worlds 2 is still in development, which means that it will be a while till we get to hear or see any concrete release date or window.

Based on pure speculation, we’d say the earliest the game could be ready is sometime in 2023, though it’s likely that the game will launch after that. Preorders aren’t available as of writing. 

Xbox and Obsidian treated players with a hilarious and somewhat 4th wall breaking announcement trailer for The Outer Worlds 2 which managed to stick through.
