The One Show issues 'sad' message about Dr Michael Mosley after tragic death

The One Show started its week of new shows by addressing the death of former reporter Dr Michael Mosley after he was found dead while on holiday. The TV doctor, known for his appearances on This Morning and BBC Radio 4's Just One Thing, went missing on the island of Symi where he was holidaying with his wife, Dr Clare Bailey.

Dr Clare Bailey Mosley has since confirmed a body discovered on Sunday morning (June 9) in a rocky area near Agia Marina beach on the Greek island of Symi was that of her husband, describing the loss as "devastating".

His former colleagues on the BBC show addressed the news on Monday's episode (June 10), which was hosted by Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas. Alex issued a statement at the start of the episode, prior to tributes from other former colleagues.

Her co-host Jermaine added: "We've already had hundreds of messages from you sharing what a difference he made to your lives. Do please keep them coming and we'll read some of them out a bit later in the show. We'll also be joined by Dr Chris Van Tulleken and Dr Hannah Fry, who'll be sharing their
