The most valuable footballer in the world at every age from 16-40

Manchester City appear to be closing in on the signing of Erling Haaland.

According to the Daily Mail, Haaland has agreed a deal worth in excess of £500,000-per-week with the Citizens.

City are now expected to trigger his release clause of £63m and a deal should be completed in the next week or so.

That’ll be a huge coup for City. He is already one of the best players in the world at the age of just 21 years old.

Had he not had a release clause inserted into his contract, they would undoubtedly have had to pay a much greater fee for his services.

Per Transfermarkt, the Norwegian star is rated the second most valuable player in the world and the most valuable player of his age group.

But who else is the most valuable player in the world for their age? Using Transfermarkt, we’ve named the most valuable player in the world for every age from 16-40.
