The 20 players with the most goals+assists in the Champions League since the start of 17/18
There’s no doubting that Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are the two greatest players in Champions League history.
The pair of Ballon d’Or collectors are the only two players in the history of Europe’s top-tier competition to score over 100 goals.
They also lead the way in terms of assists and have won a combined nine Champions League trophies (Ronaldo 5, Messi 4).
But since the start of the 2017/18 season – which was the last time either of they triumphed in Europe – they haven’t been the most prolific players in the competition.
In terms of goals and assists combined, neither Ronaldo or Messi even make the top three.
