The Manchester restaurant giving out free ‘hangover cures’ this week
A Vietnamese restaurant is coming to the rescue of anyone feeling worse for wear as the Christmas party season ramps up this week by offering free bowls of hangover curing soup.
Pho, located in Manchester’s Corn Exchange will be serving up complimentary bowls of its famous hangover-blasting phở on Wednesday (December 13) to anyone looking to shake off any lingering hangxiety from the night before.
Guests on the day will be ‘prescribed’ an order of the nutrient rich broth which Pho claims can reduce headaches, nausea, and tiredness with each sip.

Those needing a hangover-fix will however need to be quick as only the first 50 customers through Pho’s doors will be able to get their hands on the free soup.
The one day offer falls in the middle of what is known as the one of the most hungover weeks of the year as it is when most Christmas office parties are held.
Pho says its 12-hour broth which is ‘packed with the right balance of nutrients, carbohydrates, protein and vegetables’ is the perfect remedy for all hangover needs as it ‘boosts the immune system’ while leaving customers feeling ‘refreshed and re-energised’.
The restaurant’s phở menu includes Beef Brisket Noodle Soup, Super Green Soup and King Prawn Curry Noodle Soup.
Libby Andrews, marketing director of Pho said: “For many years our customers and staff have raved about our soups as their go-to hangover cure. During the Christmas party season, there is no better way to replenish and refuel when you’re feeling a bit worse for wear.”
