The Manchester Art Fair returns in November

The Manchester Art Fair will be back for 2022, with 8,000 art-lovers expected through the doors of Manchester Central next month. It’s the 15th instalment of the fair, and features more artists than ever before exhibiting work.

Among the events will be one-to-one talks with artists including Manchester’s own Stanley Chow and Ghislaine Howard. There will also be limited edition prints made exclusively for the fair by a host of artists, yet to be revealed.

Those exhibiting work include photographic artist Lexi Laine and sculptor Ben Baker. Meanwhile, Manchester’s Saul hay Gallery will be collaborating with the fair to bring new and established artists to the fair, along with MASA-UK Art Gallery from Bury.

The Manchester Contemporary will also be back, a collegiate fair for young galleries and artist-led spaces which will exhibit new and emerging works.

“Since we launched in 2008 we have welcomed over 85,000 art lovers who have spent over £5m on art through Manchester Art Fair,” said Manchester Art Fair director Sophie Helm. “2022 will be our most ambitious edition to date with 120 exhibiting artists and galleries, and an expanded visitor programme of free workshops and intimate artist talks as well as exclusive limited edition print releases from world renowned artists.”

The fair takes place from November 4 to November 6. For more information and to buy tickets, head to the Manchester Art Fair website.
