The little-known Amazon outlet where phones, laptops and tablets are heavily reduced
We all know that purchasing new tech can be horrifically expensive, but it doesn't have to be that way. If you're ok with running the gambit of purchasing a product that's been pre-owned and renewed by professionals, Amazon has a lesser-known site that you can use to pick up phones, laptops, and many other smart gadgets for much less than their retail price, the Mirror reports.
Hidden away in a separate section of the retail giant, Amazon has an entire section dedicated to tech that's been previously owned and subsequently restored to its former glory. This means that the stuff you buy might have a few signs of normal wear and tear, but everything sold is rated to function almost exactly as a new version would if you bought it brand new.

Amazon has a clear-cut returns policy for those that aren't happy with the product they receive, meaning shoppers can buy with confidence. If shoppers are not fully satisfied with the product, they have an entire year to return it for a replacement or refund.
The aim of Amazon Renewed is to extend the lifetime of a device and keep it out of landfills. The product will be restored to its original factory settings and will be in one of the following cosmetic conditions; Premium, Excellent, Good or Acceptable - very similar categories laid out by rivals like Back Market.
All renewed purchases come with the accessories that shipped with the new product. Amazon says they may not be original but will be 'compatible and fully functional'.
