The League One free agents Bolton Wanderers, Sheffield Wednesday & Portsmouth could target
Sunderland will take on Wycombe Wanderers in the League One play-off final to decide the final team to make it to the Championship this season from the third tier of English football.
For the rest, all focus is now upon the 2022/23 campaign and gearing up for the latest instalment of League One. Bolton Wanderers have already made a start on that front.
Jack Iredale yesterday became the club's first signing of the summer transfer window as he put pen to paper on a three-year deal at the University of Bolton Stadium. He joins Bolton after turning down a new contract offer at Cambridge United.

More business is planned in the coming weeks as Ian Evatt adds reinforcements to his squad with the aim of making a push for promotion next season. The Wanderers boss wants the bulk of his summer business done before the start of pre-season training on June 17, with the new season starting on July 31.
Wanderers have released eight players following the conclusion of the regular campaign and many in League One have revealed their retained lists now. Those sides who have been and are still involved in the play-offs are yet to do so.
