According to figures from the Office for National Statistics, it now costs an average of £1,293 a month to rent a home in England, which is an increase of 8.9 percent compared to last year. However, there are some parts of our region where rent prices have climbed even higher than the UK average.

In Oldham, rents have risen more than anywhere else in Greater Manchester over the last year at an increase of 14.2 percent. This is closely followed by Rochdale, where prices have risen by 14.1 percent.
