The Kooks release tickets for Manchester gig on 2025 UK arena tour - plus more shows on sale

With news of a mini-heatwave set to hit the UK over the next few days, many of us will be digging out the sun cream, shades, and shorts - alongside barbecue supplies.

Amy Macdonald’s gift for crafting uplifting songs from relatable stories of triumphs, struggles and hope have made her one of the UK’s most beloved artists. That talent has attracted a vast audience, leading to five albums, including a number one in the UK and two in Germany; over 12 million sales; 12 international platinum certifications; and over a billion streams. She’s a consistently huge draw in the live arena too, having played to more than five million people worldwide.

Now, Amy is stepping into a new chapter with the news that she will release her sixth album, ‘Is This What You’ve Been Waiting For?’, on July 11 - alongside its lead single and title track - as well as details of a major UK and European tour for this November and December.

British indie icons The Kooks have announced a major UK tour, including their biggest-ever headline show at London’s The O2 on October 11. The band will also play Manchester’s Co-op Live for the first time following the venue’s opening in May 2024.
