The King's Birthday Honours list 2023 in full
King Charles' first Birthday Honours list has been announced.
The monarch, who was crowned at his coronation in May, has recognised hundreds of people across the UK to celebrate their contributions to society, community or their area of work.
They range from footballers, actors and TV presenters to senior diplomats, members of the armed forces and charity fundraisers.
Those being honoured this year include Vogue editor-in-chief Dame Anna Wintour and Booker Prize-winning novelist Ian McEwan, who were made Companions of Honour alongside Professor Sir John Bell, regius professor of medicine at the University of Oxford.

Line Of Duty actress Vicky McClure, television presenter Davina McCall and veteran broadcaster Ken Bruce were made MBEs. footballer-turned-pundit Wright was made an OBE, while late author Sir Martin Amis was knighted a day before he died last month aged 73.
The oldest recipient was 106-year-old Joan Willett who was given a British Empire Medal for her charitable fundraising for the British Heart Foundation. The youngest, Junior Jay Frood, 18, received the same honour for services to vulnerable children.
The honours handed out include Companions of Honour (CH), Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (GCB/KCB/CB), Order of St Michael and St George (Knight/GCMG/KCMG/DCMG/CMG), Knighthood and damehood (Knight/DBE), Commanders of the Order of the British Empire (CBE), Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE), Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) and British Empire Medal (BEM).
