The 'game-changing' Sheffield United youngsters who have Paul Heckingbottom excited for future

Paul Heckingbottom is in no rush to make a decision on what next for Will Osula and Daniel Jebbison. The two 18-year-olds, who he describes as 'babies' of the football world, have made great strides in the past 12 months.

Jebbison became a Premier League record-breaking goalscoring when Heckingbottom handed him his first start at Everton last year. He also enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at Burton last season, finding the net nine times.

Danish under 19 striker Osula has burst on to the first-team scene more recently, making his bow towards the end of the last campaign. The pair have been earmarked for a bright future and Heckingbottom believes they could fire Sheffield United to glory in years to come.

He says they have all the attributes to become top strikers if they can continue their development and learn how to get the best use out of their talent. With Billy Sharp and Oli McBurnie injured, the door has opened for the pair to impress in pre-season and stake a claim to be in and around the squad for the Championship campaign.

Both have found the net so far in the summer, with Jebbison scoring a lovely winner at Casa Pia and Osula following suit with a brace against Lincoln, with Jebbison involved in his first.

They are certainly doing everything the manager is asking of them and he is in no doubt about what the future holds.

He said: "They're babies, they're still 18. We've been talking about Jebbo for ages, but he's still a baby and they've got nowhere near the football knowledge and nous but they have attributes.

"If they learn how to use them and show it, they can do things that other players can't because of their physical capabilities. It's about learning how to use them. They're different players, totally
