The full and spiralling cost of watching your SPFL side revealed as another payment looms

Scotland matches will soon be broadcasted via Nordic streaming service Viaplay after Sky Sports lost the rights to show the games.

It means that fans will need to fork out if they want to tune in to watch the national team play live.

Viaplay will show all of the men's team matches from 2024.

But it is not only international matches that cost quite a bit to follow these days with the price of watching or attending club clashes spiking over the last few years.

From season ticket prices to simply tuning into games on the TV, it can cost a fair whack.

Whether it be a BT or Sky Sports subscription, a one day pass for cinch Premiership club TV streaming service or even that pesky TV licence bill, it sure adds up.

So how much does it actually cost to follow Scottish football nowadays?

It could cost you quite a bit to follow your team week in week out these days.

Going to every home game can be pretty costly, never mind the price for tickets and transport when your side are the away team.

The cost of a season ticket varies from club to club in the Scottish Premiership.

As it stands Ross County offer the cheapest season tickets with a campaign loss pass to Celtic Park the most expensive.

Season ticket average adult prices, full list:

£295 - £625

Sky Sports packages start at £18 per month.

But you will be able to add the sport channels to an existing subscription, meaning it will cost you around £41 per month to get the football on your home TV.

Prices increase if you add multiple Sky boxes to your package.

There are a number of games broadcast exclusively on BT Sport.

If you are a Rangers fan for example, you will be looking to follow their Europa League run - shown live on BT.

Current BT deals include every BR Sport
