The date and location of Floyd Mayweather's next exhibition fight has been revealed

Floyd Mayweather‘s next fight will take place at a rather unusual location, a new report claims.

US news outlet TMZ is reporting that Mayweather is set to face Don Moore after drawing with Logan Paul early last year, although their claims have not yet been confirmed by Mayweather or his representatives.

The event, billed as ‘The Global Titan Fight Series’ will take place on a helipad on top of one of the most expensive hotels in the world.

Mayweather, who retired from boxing with a 50-0 record after beating UFC superstar Conor McGregor, will take on 42-year-old Moore in an eight-round exhibition bout at the iconic Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai on May 12.

The iconic hotel, which stands at 321 metres tall, is 14 metres taller than the Eiffel Tower and only 60 metres smaller than the Empire State Building.

A stay at one of the world’s most famous hotels would set you back almost £10,000 for a one week stay in a Deluxe Marina Suite.

While the Marina Suite is the cheapest option to stay there, the most expensive is the Royal Suite which can cost a whopping £18,000 per night.

The venue has previously been used for other exclusive sporting events including Anthony Joshua taking part in an open workout that was exposed to the elements.

In 2005, Roger Federer and Andre Agassi also played an exhibition tennis match there which was only open to a handful of special guests.

The fight will act as the first time Mayweather has fought since he was taken the distance by Paul last June.

Speaking at a press conference, he said: “I had fun. You’ve got to realise I’m not 21 anymore. He’s better than I thought he was.

“He’s a tough, rough competitor and I was surprised by him. He knew how to use his weight and tie me up.
