The 'controversial' list of 100 'worst' baby names revealed on parenting site
When picking a name for a new baby, many parents will turn to the top 100 list for some inspiration.
Whether they do this, or decide to go for something more out of the ordinary, it's hoped that their family and friends will approve of the name they've chosen for their family's new addition.
The most popular baby names for 2021 were recently released. However, on the other hand, it's rare that we hear about the baby names that are not so popular. One parenting site in particular has come up with its own list of 'worst' baby names you could give your little one.
The Mirror reports that the team over at Emma's Diary shared their thoughts on the top 100 'worst' baby names of all time - and it includes some names that people may find controversial.
The list was apparently only intended to be "a bit of fun" and not meant to cause any offence.
It features a number of names more commonly associated with other items such as Flora, Maybelline and Chardonnay - while some seem like perfectly fine names, but were included for their strange spellings.
There are also names in the list that are associated with songs (Alice, Alice, who the f*** is Alice), while others, like Boris, are associated with well-known public figures.

Emma's Diary pointed out that parents should choose a name that they love for their newborn baby, no matter what other people may think.
