The Championship - Hurling quarter-finals take centre stage
It's quarter-final time and in the latest edition of The Championship, hurling takes centre stage.
Former Tipperary star Paddy Stapleton looks ahead to his county's clash with Galway and wonders just how Henry Shefflin can pick the Tribesmen up off the floor after the nature of their Leinster final defeat.
The weekend's other big hurling game sees Clare take on Dublin and while the Dubs will be hopeful of causing an upset, Stapleton finds it hard to envisage.
Elsewhere in football it's the All-Ireland football preliminary quarter-finals that are down for decision along with the Tailteann Cup. Monaghan's Mickey Quinn and Dessie Mone of Monaghan are on hand to preview all the big ball action.
The Championship will also be broadcast live on RTÉ One at 10pm on Friday evening.
