The Boks are back! Test tickets for home games to go on sale next week

Tickets for the Springboks' six home Tests this year will go on sale next week, SA Rugby announced on Thursday.

Vaccinated spectators will find tickets that range from R150 (R200 at Ellis Park) rising to R1 500 for the Tests against the All Blacks to be played in Nelspruit and Johannesburg.

SA Rugby announced 9 March (12:00) as the official date the tickets will go on sale "in a unique, coordinated launch".

Virtual card holding clients of Springbok partner, FNB, will have an "early bird" window to snap up seats on 7 and 8 March.Tickets for the Rugby Championship match against Argentina in Durban in September will go on sale within the next month.

The last time a Springbok fan attended a Test in South Africa was more than two and a half years ago - a 24-18 victory over Argentina on 19 August 2019 at Loftus Versfeld.

The organisation also said they were hopeful that the current 2 000 capacity restriction would be relaxed in the coming months.

The Springboks played the British & Irish Lions Series and two Tests against Argentina in the Rugby Championship behind closed doors.

Tickets for the three Welsh Tests in Pretoria, Bloemfontein and Cape Town as well as the match against New Zealand in Johannesburg are available from Ticketpro here.
