The 'blister-proof' £16 New Look sandals that have gone viral for looking like £125 designer Birkenstocks
Now that the weather is picking up, fashion fans will be ditching their winter boots and trainers for a lighter and more airy pair of shoes more suitable for warmer temperatures. At New look, customers have been snapping up a budget-friendly pair of sandals, ideal for the British summer or sunny holidays abroad, that have been hailed as looking similar to a much more expensive brand.
Those who have picked up New Look's Wide Fit Light Brown Suedette Double Strap Sliders insist they look like a pair of Birkenstock Arizona sandals, but at an affordable price point. The high street retailer's sandals cost £15.99, where a pair of Birkenstocks, which are available at Schuh, can easily set you back over £100.
New Look's £15.99 sandals have been constructed with an open toe, flat sole design with a wide fit. They feature a cork-effect trim with rose gold hardware with a light brown suedette finish, for unlimited comfort, as Birmingham Live reports.

Shoppers love the sandals, with one buyer saying: "Best sandals I have ever owned. I got a pair of these last year and wore them to death. I have wide feet and they fit perfectly, and I love how you can also adjust the straps to make them comfortable. I spent so much time trying on different styles of Birkenstocks which just didn't suit my feet but these are perfect."
Another mentioned: "Yet to wear them anywhere but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the fit and comfort. I am a 6.5 and I ordered a 6, they fit perfectly though
