Coronation Street's Tina O'Brien looks incredible as she dons bikini for spa day after tearful tribute

Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien looked incredible as she posed for a bikini-clad selfie as she enjoyed a spa day after her tearful public reaction to some shock soap news.

The actress recently enjoyed a break from the cobbles as she headed away with her husband Adam Crofts, sharing some updates on social media. But on Thursday (June 6), Tina was back in the UK but headed straight for Chapneys for a relaxing day out.

Taking to her Instagram Story, the soap star, famed for playing Sarah Barlow - nee Platt in the ITV soap, shared a fresh-faced snap of herself posing in the mirror as she sported a blue and white pin-striped bikini. She didn't caption the post, however, and simply tagged Champneys as her location.

It comes after Tina was among the Corrie stars emotionally speaking out when it was announced that her on-screen mum Helen Worth would be quitting the soap after 50 years amid a major milestone.

The acting legend Helen joined the ITV soap at 23 years old in 1974, which was 14 years after viewers were first introduced to the people of Weatherfield. She will soon mark five decades of playing the Platt matriarch who over the years has endured a number of failed romances, prison time, near-death experiences, drama with her children and recently found out her brother was a serial killer.

However, as Helen marks her major soap milestone, she will also be looking forward to a very different future, as she has made the difficult decision to step down from her much-loved role. It's been confirmed that the soap icon, 73, will start filming her exit story next month
