The awful Swansea City player ratings as 'passenger' typifies blunt attack at Sheffield United

Wasn't helped out at all by his defenders for the three first-half goals. Didn't really do much wrong in possession in fairness, although he got away with an awful pass early in the second half.

Some brave moments on the ball, but he was clearly targeted by the Blades at times. Passing was a positive. A tough afternoon for the Man City loanee, though.

The pick of the bunch defensively. Some important clearances and interceptions to ensure the score wasn't even worse.

A few decent balls forward from the back, but the Irishman couldn't really impact the attacking play. Calm at the back but caught out for Billy Sharp's goal.

A frustrating showing from the Fulham loanee after Sunday's heroics. Didn't trouble the Sheffield United defence and was caught high up a few times, which put Burns under pressure.

Made his share of tackles but couldn't influence attacking play as he'd have liked.

Didn't threaten enough in attack and found the going tough in the middle of the park at times. Swansea needed so much more from their captain. Loose pass at the death summed up his understandable fatigue. Tough day.

Caught out for Swansea's opener and Billy Sharp easily had space on the same side of the pitch for the third goal. Unable to threaten in attack either. Tough return to the side.

Had Swansea's only shot on target in the first-half but was guilty of slowing things down too often and was far too quiet in the Sheffield United half throughout. Described as a "passenger" by one broadcaster at Bramall Lane. Subbed.

The most likely to create anything in the first-half, but he was abruptly stopped on more than one occasion. Had a tame shot saved in the second-half.

Didn't get a sniff in the first-half. Worked his socks off after the restart
