The 29 players linked with Manchester United summer transfers and who should be signed
The summer transfer window is still several weeks away but the rumour mill has already started to crank up a gear.
As has become customary, Manchester United have already been linked with a massive amount of players ahead of the window reopening — with some seeming a lot less likely than others.
It's no surprise that United are being touted with so many different players — they have been an easy name for agents to mention alongside their clients for a number of years — but this time around it makes even more sense considering the season they have endured.
It's now impossible for United to lift a trophy and even qualifying for next year's Champions League is looking increasingly difficult. It's set to be a summer of vast change at Old Trafford, starting at the top with a new permanent manager needing to be hired to take over the reins from interim boss Ralf Rangnick.

There are also set to be several departures with Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata all looking certain to leave upon the expiration of their contracts and others like Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial having uncertain futures.
As a result, the club are going to have to get busy in the transfer market once again. A new defensive-midfielder is understood to be the top target, with Declan Rice the ideal candidate and others like Ruben Neves, Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni being linked, but a new striker, centre-back and full-back may also be on United's radar,
