The 11 Premier League players whose transfer value has increased the most this season

A study has revealed the 11 Premier League players whose transfer value has risen the most this season.

Using data from Transfermarkt, Online Money Advisor have identified the players who are now worth a lot more than they were at the start of the season.

There are a number of reasons why these players’ transfer valuation has increased.

They may have completed a transfer that has seen their transfer value rise, or they’ve simply been brilliant this season. Age and contract details also play a role.

The value has been taken from July 1 to their current market value (as of February 15).

So, without further ado, who are the top 10 players whose market value has risen the most this season?

Guehi has played the full 90 minutes in every match for Crystal Palace this season other than the 3-0 Boxing Day loss to Tottenham after signing from Chelsea for £18m. At the tender age of 21, Guehi’s market value will only rise with his age.

At the end of July, Arsenal signed White for £50m. That saw his value rise but, despite his performances this season, it seems they overpaid for him.

Arsenal also signed Ramsdale in the summer for far more than his valuation, paying £30m for the goalkeeper. His good performances so far in this campaign will only see his value edge towards that transfer fee.

Everton only paid £1.7m for Gray but he paid back that transfer fee almost immediately with three goals in his first four matches. He’s only scored twice more but, at the age of 25, Gray has seen his transfer value skyrocket. 

Chalobah wasn’t expected to play any role for the European champions this season but he made 14 appearances in Chelsea’s first 21 matches in the Premier League this season. Age also comes into play with the defender just
