Tesco is rolling out a blanket change across all of its supermarkets on April 18

Over the next few months, Tesco will be implementing blanket changes across all of its stores nationwide. The changes will impact every shopper that uses a Clubcard - of which there are more than 20 million.

On April 18, Tesco will be axing one of its most popular features. From this date, shoppers will no longer be able to use the Tesco Clubcard app. As well as this, from June 14, the amount of Clubcard points shoppers will receive for spending in store will dramatically decrease.

Alongside the following Clubcard changes, the supermarket has also upped the cost of its minimum order spend and the fee for orders under this amount.

Shoppers will need to know about the upcoming changes set to be introduced in the next few months as they will affect the perks they get with their Clubcard membership.

The Tesco Clubcard app, which lets you scan a digital version of your Clubcard as well as view and spend your vouchers, is closing down on April 18. Shoppers will have to instead download the revamped Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app if they want to keep using a digital version of their Clubcard.

This is free to download on Android and iPhone, and you will be able to log into your Tesco account and scan your app as usual. It comes after Tesco closed down its Pay+ app on February 27.

This app lets you store your credit or debit card and Clubcard details which is now a function that is available on the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app, says the Mirror.
