Teen from Manchester charged after serious assault on woman in Cheshire town
A teenager from Manchester has been charged after a serious assault on a woman in Cheshire. The 16-year-old boy was due to appear in court today.
In a statement Cheshire Consrtabulary said: "Detectives investigating a serious assault on Masons Lane, Macclesfield have charged a teenager. The charges relate to a serious assault on a 41-year-old woman at a property on Masons Lane, Macclesfield at around 4.15pm on Sunday 12 February.
"A 16-year-old boy from Manchester was arrested and subsequently charged with section 18 wounding with intent, possession of a knife in a public place and two counts of possession with intent of supply class A drugs (cocaine and heroin). He will appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 14 February)."
