Tea and coffee drinkers race to buy £59 Ninja kettle that 'keeps water hot'

Tea and coffee drinkers are rushing to buy an essential kitchen appliance slashed in price in the Ninja January sale. Those who have already got their hands on the high tech kettle say it 'puts all others to shame'.

The Ninja Perfect Temperature Rapid Boil Kettle promises to brew the perfect cuppa every time thanks to its adjustable temperature control. Users can choose from six pre-set temperatures range from 60°C to 100°C or you can set it manually.

The rapid boil functions boils one cup of water in under 50 seconds - twice as fast as traditional electrical kettles. There's also the temperature hold setting, which maintains your selected water temperature for up to 30 minutes, eliminating the need for re-boils.

The contemporary matte black finish makes the Ninja kettle a stylish addition to any kitchen - and it comes with a two-year guarantee, reports Birmingham Live. Originally priced at £99.99, the Perfect Temperature Rapid Boil Kettle has been reduced to £59.99 in the Ninja January sale.

The clever gadget has received more than 900 reviews on the Ninja website, with an average rating of 4.5 out of five stars. Shoppers were impressed by the temp hold function and said 'no more scalding my tongue' on hot drinks.

Lairey said: "Just what I wanted from a kettle. Needed a new kettle having had my old one for a few years and it was showing its age. Wanted a kettle that had temperature control and had seen this one along with a couple of others.

"Decided on this one and does a good job - no more having to take the lid off, no more scalding my tongue on sachet coffee. Up to now, it's a dream."

Julies labelled the Ninja kettle a 'game changer' and said: "I admit I was sceptical that we would use the variable temperatures
