Taylor & Cameron come in at exactly the same weight

Katie Taylor and Chantelle Cameron came in at exactly the same weight at the Mansion House in Dublin on Friday afternoon as a raucous crowd set the tone for tomorrow's showdown at the 3Arena.

Taylor and undisputed super lightweight title holder Cameron both tipped the scales at 139.7lbs ahead of the 140lbs contest.

The home favourite can write another chapter in an outstanding career as she aims to become just the third two-weight undisputed champion ever, joining Evander Holyfield and Claressa Shields in the history books.

It's her first fight on Irish soil since turning pro in 2016 - and anitcipation levels are through the roof.

"This is absolutely incredible," Taylor said as supporters whooped and hollered at the weigh-in.

"I can't wait to get a hold of those belts. To bring big-time boxing back to his great nation... this is a nation who loves her sport, loves her boxing. I'm so proud to be here. I'm going to give it my all tomorrow and become a two-weight world champion.

"I'm just so grateful for all the support throughout the amateur days, the pro days the last few years.

"I'm avery, very proud Irishwoman and every time I step into the arena I represent my country.

"I love this nation, I love you guys, and I can't wait to perform again for you tomorrow night."

Taylor is expected to enter the ring at around 10.30pm.
