Tammy Abraham hints at a return to the Premier League
Former Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham has hinted at a possible return to the Premier League after revealing he would like to 'make noise' in the English top-flight once again.
Abraham joined Roma - who are managed by former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho - on a five-year deal worth £34million in August 2021 after struggling to cement his place in Thomas Tuchel's starting XI.
However, the 24-year-old could return to the English top-flight in the future after claiming he is a 'London boy'. Nevertheless, Abraham has insisted he is focused on winning a trophy at Roma first.
Talking to talkSPORT, Abraham said: 'For me I’ve always been a player growing up, watching the Premier League and watching football.
When I heard about different teams and certain players I always thought: Wow I want that to be me one day.
'I’m sitting in bed one day on Instagram that Tammy’s been linked with so and so and as a player it makes you feel good.
'As a player it makes you feel like you’re doing something right. For me it’s a nice feeling to be linked. To see your name all over the newspapers etc.
'But for me it’s just doing my business here. Focusing on what I am doing here so I can keep getting linked with all the clubs.'
Abraham, who joined Chelsea aged seven, netted 30 goals in 82 games for Chelsea at first-team level and was top scorer in his two full seasons in the academy.
