Talks held: Another Paratici signing tempted to leave Spurs already alongside Emerson & Gollini

According to a report from the Daily Star’s Paul Brown, Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil may leave the club once again this summer.

Signed from Sevilla for a reported £21.6million (Sky Sports) with Erik Lamela heading in the opposite direction, the 21-year-old failed to make an impression during an initial six-month spell in north London.

Another of Fabio Paratici’s early acquisitions as managing director of football at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Gil could be set for an early exit along with Emerson Royal and lesser-spotted goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini.

Royal has been linked with a switch to either Inter Milan or Atletico Madrid, whilst Gollini could head immediately back to Atalanta following a season-loan loan.

Meanwhile, talented winger Gil could also be on the move this summer.

The fresh report claims that the 21-year-old Spaniard is ‘not currently in Antonio Conte’s plans’ and Spurs will instead look to sign an alternative.

Having joined Valencia on loan until the end of 2021/22 during the January transfer window, it’s stated that the La Liga side have ‘already enquired’ about the possibility of extending the deal by another season.

Gil is said to be ‘tempted’ by the prospect, although Spurs may only agree to another loan switch, as the club still views the player as ‘one for the future’.

Having failed to provide a single goal contribution in nine Premier League outings for the Lilywhites, it comes as little surprise to see that the club would consider an extension of his spell away.

Since arriving back in Spain, the four-cap Spain ace has registered one assist in eight appearances for Los Murciélagos – already showing signs of a return to the form that earned a move to London.

Valued at £22.9million
