Taif set for final round of 2026 Saudi Toyota Championship Hill Climb

TAIF: Aqabat Al-Muhammadiyah in Al-Shafa, Taif, will host the third and final round of the 2026 Saudi Toyota Championship Hill Climb from July 31 to Aug. 1, under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, the owner of the contest.

The event is being managed by Bakhashab Motorsport, in partnership with Jameel Motorsport, the official partner of the championship, and Brandship, the strategic partner for the 2026 season.

The final round follows a second stage that had in-form Mamoun Amr Alkabbani claim his second consecutive victory in the championship. He also set a new record on the Aqabat Al-Muhammadiyah course with a time of 1 minute, 42.301 seconds.

The round two results also intensified the battle at the front, with Faisal Soufyan Alkabbani finishing second and Rabih Moayad Alawar placing third in the overall classification.

The third round will feature competition across 10 classes, in addition to the Ladies Cup, on the Aqabat Al-Muhammadiyah course.

The 4.2-km route features 30 corners and climbs from 1,900 meters to about 2,150 meters above sea level, presenting competitors with a technical challenge that requires precision, control and the ability to balance speed with consistency.

The round’s program will include official practice before competitors take on four competitive race runs. The final results will be determined by the combined total of each competitor’s two fastest times from the four runs, increasing the importance of every attempt and keeping the competition open until the closing stages.
