"Switch in the transfer policy" – Journalist drops interesting Tottenham claim involving Paratici

Tottenham could be on the verge of a change in transfer policy this summer, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.

Spurs were linked with a host of Italian-based players in January, although it now appears that Conte is looking to sign players from the Premier League ahead of the window reopening for business.

Given Conte and Fabio Paratici’s Serie A connections, notably with Juventus, it looked like players from Serie A would be top of their wish-list.

He told GIVEMESPORT: “We could maybe see a switch in the transfer policy at Tottenham. If you’re buying players from the Premier League, at least they know what the league is all about, so they shouldn’t take too long to adapt, even though they are moving to a new club.”
