Swansea fire shuts road - live updates

Emergency services are dealing with a fire at a property on Pen-y-Cae Lane in the Loughor area of Swansea.

South Wales Police put out a statement at 7.30am on Thursday (May 23) saying that the road is currently closed "due to the presence of emergency vehicles". Motorists are advised take alternative routes.

Traffic monitors are showing that the A4240 Borough Road is closed from Heol Cae Copyn to Pen-Y-Cae Lane, affecting traffic between Lougher and Gorseinon.
