Transfer deadline day is here and Swansea City have a lot still to do.

Head coach Russell Martin has made no secret of the fact he wants more bodies in the door before tonight’s 11pm deadline, with a striker and left wing-back seen as the priority areas.

But they have been left frustrated in their pursuit to add a new left-sided defender.

Cyrus Christie, Andy Fisher, Finley Burns and Hannes Wolf have already arrived this month, but more quality and depth is required.

Meanwhile, the club do not expect to clinch a deal for striker Nahki Wells.

And as for Jamie Paterson, he continues to attract interest, although his price tag could well put off clubs from swooping.
