Swansea City's 2021/22 award winners in full as Joel Piroe among stars to scoop prizes

Joel Piroe claimed a pair of prizes as he won the Swansea City Supporters' Player of the Season and top goalscorer awards.

The Dutchman has been a revelation since moving to south Wales from PSV Eindhoven last summer, scoring 24 goals in all competitions for the Swans. And the Jack Army voted the frontman as their best performer of the 2021/22 campaign. His remarkable goal return also saw him win the top goalscorer of the season award.

Kyle Naughton won the p layers’ player of the season award while Flynn Downes was voted as the best newcomer of the season as a result of his efforts since joining from Ipswich Town last summer. Cameron Congreve - who has been handed his first-team debut and first senior start by the current coaching staff in recent months - was voted as the academy player of the season.
