Swansea City are set to return to action on Saturday evening, with high-flying Blackburn Rovers the visitors.

Russell Martin was left to bemoan his side's profligacy in front of goal following the 1-0 defeat at the hands of Luton Town in their last outing, a result that has left the Swans with just one win in their last eight league games.

It was also the third consecutive time Swansea have failed to find the net a state of affairs that will need to be addressed if they are to ensure that any relegation fears are allowed to grow.

Enter Jamie Paterson perhaps?

The Swans star could well be brought back into the first team fold, following a recent dispute over his contract at the Swansea.com Stadium.

Paterson's future in SA1 appeared in doubt, but despite several offers from QPR before the close of the window, he remains a Swansea player.

Whether or not he has a part to play this weekend remains to be seen.
