Swansea City headlines as thousands sign petition for owners to leave and Michu reveals Haaland transfer talks

A petition calling for Swansea's owners to leave the club has resurfaced and topped nearly 2,500 signatures.

It comes on the back of news that the Supporters' Trust has agreed a settlement with the club's former and current shareholders to bring an end to their legal battle.

As a result of Tuesday's news, a petition - which has just shy of 2,500 signatures - calling for Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan to resign resurfaced on social media.

A segment of the petition, created by Harrison Evans, reads: "The running of the club over the last five years has been unacceptable and we cannot tolerate it anymore.

"The lack of ambition and investment has been evident for some time now and no real changes seem to be happening any time soon."

Sheffield United are expected to be without David McGoldrick and Jayden Bogle for Saturday's clash with Swansea City.

Right-back Bogle missed his side's 0-0 draw with Hull City due to a knee concern and will be carefully managed over the course of the remainder of the campaign.

The Blades will also be without striker McGoldrick after he suffered a hamstring injury in his side's 2-0 win over West Brom earlier this month.

On Bogle, Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom said: "He's got a knee problem which we're going to have to manage.

"He couldn't play today. He had a scan yesterday. we'll get a plan together for him because he's been doing fantastic for us. We know he's one of the players we're going to have to manage between now and the end of the season

"I want to be positive with getting him back but we'll be led by opinions and the pain that he's in."
