Swansea City announce fourth summer signing as Sorinola reveals lofty ambitions
Swansea City have completed the signing of Matthew Sorinola from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.
The 21-year-old joins the Swans on a season-long loan deal from the Belgian club. Head coach Russell Martin is a firm admirer of the left wing-back - who can also operate on the right flank - having worked with him at his previous club MK Dons.
Sorinola becomes Swansea's fourth summer signing following the captures of Harry Darling, Nathan Wood and Wasiri Williams.

"I know the style of play, I know how the players play and I know what Russ the manager wants so it was perfect really," said Sorinola after joining the Swans.
"I just like to be on the ball, I like to deliver, get crosses in and take people on. I like to express myself and have fun."
And on his aims at the club, Sorinola said: "Get to the Prem [Premier League]. That's the goal, that's the aim. Why not, I think it's possible so let's go for it."
Sorinola made 43 appearances under Martin for MK Dons during the 2020/21 season before sealing a move to Belgium last summer. He signed a three-year deal with the club, meaning he still has two seasons left to run on his contract with the Brussels outfit.
Meanwhile, Swansea remain keen to strike a deal to re-sign Joe Allen. The midfielder is now a free agent after leaving Stoke City and has attracted transfer interest from numerous clubs. ( You can read the full update on the midfielder here.)
